What Tutors Recieve:
Monetary Compensation
Sync Tutors receive 45% of the lesson fee paid by the student for each completed session.Â
Compensation details are confirmed before you accept a student, so you will always know the lesson price and your expected earnings in advance. Payment is able to be transferred to you via whatever method is convenient for you. Tutors are responsible for reporting their income and paying any taxes that apply to their earnings.
Tutors are paid for completed lessons and may also receive compensation when a student cancels late or does not attend. Cancellations made with enough notice are usually rescheduled and are not paid until the replacement lesson is completed.
Tutors are not paid for lessons that are fully refunded because of tutor absence, excessive lateness, technical problems on the tutor’s end, or failure to provide the scheduled lesson. Refund decisions will follow SyncTutoring’s official refund policy.
